Well-being Ambassadors

Sun Hill Junior School prides itself on looking after the wellbeing of everyone in our community. The Wellbeing Ambassadors are a group of pupils from each class who meet regularly to discuss how we can improve and enhance the wellbeing of everyone in and around school.

The Wellbeing ambassadors are passionate about looking after each other, and promoting the five ways of wellbeing; take notice, be active, connect, take action and give. Supported by all of the staff in school, the wellbeing ambassadors also act as beacons of kindness, and can be found offering support to those that need it at play times and lunchtimes as well as in their classrooms and around school.

Throughout the academic year, The Wellbeing ambassadors will support with Anti-bullying week, Wellbeing Day, run assemblies and hold regular meetings with their class, including writing questionnaires to monitor pupil and staff wellbeing. They then put in to place action plans based on their findings.
