With the support of our sports premium allocation Sun Hill Junior School is delighted to offer after-school sports clubs at a reduced cost. These clubs are run by the school using external coaches who work closely with us to provide the best after-school sporting opportunities for our pupils.

Each term we open  the club registration applications with a strict completion date. Each club is open to all pupils to ensure that these clubs and the sports funding allocated to the school is accessible to all.

If your child would like to participate in any of our school after-school sports clubs please contact the school office.

Places will be awarded at random, but numbers are limited and places in each club  will fill-up fast. Enrolment via the form is required every term to ensure a fair opportunity for a place.

Once a childs place has been confirmed on an after-school sports club payment for the term is required in full. If payment is not made by the requested date, the place will be offered to another child.

Should the club be cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances” you will either receive a refund or credit to your childs scopay account at your request. However, if your child decides not to participate in the club, no refund will be issued.

Please note, this is a school run club and therefore the school's behaviour policy (link) still applies. Parents will be informed of any inappropriate behaviour and your child may lose their clubs privileges if there is a consistent issue. In this circumstance no refund will apply.

Children MUST wear the appropriate clothing and should come to school in their school PE kit on the day of their club. For football, socks, shin pads and football boots are required. All outside sports need layers and gloves for the colder months.  If a child does not have the appropriate kit, they will be unable to take part.

We have a number of paid clubs supplied by external providers held at either Sun Hill Junior School or Sun Hill Infant School.
