Welcome to Sun Hill Junior School and all that we have to offer that makes our school a unique and special place to grow and learn. SHJS is a community that I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of and take so much joy and overwhelming pride in seeing all the achievements that happen every day.

As a school, we are continually working to improve the experiences that we offer all of our children. From our in class learning environments to the many extra-curricular activities we invest in, ensuring that our children succeed in and out of the classroom. Our staff team are extremely dedicated and invested in delivering the highest quality teaching as well as nurturing the individual. We believe it is crucial that we work together, in partnership, to ensure that your child gets the very best from their time at SHJS.

We understand that your child only gets one chance to complete their journey through a junior school and we therefore take that responsibility extremely seriously. It is important to us all at SHJS to strive to provide the best possible social and educational outcomes for your child.

Our goal is to open up opportunities for our children through an exciting curriculum which we are continually developing, in a safe and supportive environment. We want the children to engage in their learning and continue to be happy and successful learners who are equipped with the skills they need for their futures.
