At Sun Hill we aim to make the transition from infants to juniors as easy as possible, As soon as you have confirmed your child’s place we begin to get to know them, so by the time September comes they are familiar with the new surroundings and what is expected of them.
Year 3 (Main Round) Admissions
If your child is in Year 2 and attends an infant school, you should apply for a Year 3 place at a junior school for September 2023. Applications should be made via the Hampshire County Council Portal

National Notification Date for on-time applicants - Monday 17th April 2023.

Notification date for late applicants (whose applications received after 15th January and before 17th April 2023) - Tuesday 25th April 2023

Deadline date for parents wishing to lodge an appeal (returning completed papers to the County Council) - Friday 19th May 2023
