On the mornings of Thursday 23rd June and Friday 1st July the whole school took part in our school sports day. The morning of the 23rd started with all the pupils going into their house teams and taking part in a round robin of stations including speed bounce, skipping, javelin, hurdles and space hopper relays. Just before we finally succumbed to the rain our amazing parents took part in a house-teams tug-o-war to win extra points for their child's house, Well done to the parents of Itchen house who were the overall winners on the day.
As our afternoon events were rained off these recommenced on Friday 1st of July. The afternoon events consisted of year-group sprint races, house team relay races and the presentation ceremony for all of the running events and group winners from both sessions. We also awarded our Sports Day House Cup which this year was won by Itchen House.
