World Book Day at SHJS!

On Friday 3rd March the staff and pupils of Sun Hill Juniors celebrated world book day! As you will see from the gallery of pictures below, everyone got into the spirit of world book day with their amazing costumes.

Mrs Griffiths has tasked the entire staff to dress as Where's Wally and the pupils were given a Where's Wally quiz to guess where Wally had been hiding in and around the school.

The school PTA "Friends of Sun Hill Juniors" has also set a sponsored reading challenge for the children and there was a prize draw for all of the pupils who had completed the challege in celebration assembly. The winners received a book voucher and a chocolate bar and the runner's up a bag of sweets! Congratulations to all the pupils who took part in the Sponsored Reading Challenge 2023 which has raised an amazing £1200 towards the new library furniture.
